TEAMS

IMPORTANT NOTES

A few things you need to know if you signed up a player.

Session Schedule & Location:

  • Sessions run from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM on Saturdays with consistent weekly time slots (9-10a., 10:15-11:15a, 11:30a-12:30p, & 12:45-1:45p) for each age group.
  • All games will be at your desired indoor Next Level Soccer location (in either Gilbert or N. Phoenix)


Age groups (Coed):


  • Southeast - ages 6-12
  • North Phoenix - 1st-6th grade



Playing Format:


  • 4v4 matches held in INDOOR locations
  • Five 8-minute games per session (40 minutes total), with 4-minute breaks between games
  • Substitutions every 4 minutes. 
  • Regular season: Each team plays 40 games over the first 5 weekends to determine playoff seeding
  • Playoffs (6th weekend) 


Team Composition:


  • Teams consist of 6 players.
  • Maximum of 6 teams per age group. 
  • Volunteer coaches


Coaching:


  • Just Play Rec Soccer and/or Next Level Soccer coaches will be on site during sessions.
  • Volunteer coaches
  • Volunteer Support: Each game area is overseen by a designated parent volunteer (one per area).
